Good food, long wait on Valentines day. I frequent this place regularly. The food is always pretty good and the value is excellent. I decided to place an order on Valentines day and the girl that normally takes the orders and packs them was not there. The place was filled with people and the phone rang off the hook. I think they were overwhelmed with orders. They got me my order about 1 hour late. Got home and the food was ok. Not their normal product. They did make a mistake on my order as well. I will go back again, but not on a special day. Hope the regular girl returns soon.

Love this place! The owners and staff are super nice and their food is delicious!!! I had the Wonton Soup and the Vegetable Egg Foo Young. They have a huge menu with lots of choices. I'll definitely be back!

Just below average chinese food. Good eggrolls, large portions and the lunch special is only 5.00 something cents, buutt... the food is nothing special in fact it looks kind of weird.

Golden Sun used to have really good food. My recent order was so disappointing! I ordered Chef's Special Orange Chicken. It was a horrible version. It is supposed to be crispy chicken with grated orange rind. Instead, the order was heavily breaded and soggy with barely no chicken and no orange flavor. Also ordered Mongolian beef...used to be plenty of flavored beef with scallions. Instead it was 1/3 beef and the rest was slices of onion. The only redeeming meals were egg foo young and Singapore noodles. I will never order from there again. Bad food....

Everybody who is looking for quality chinese food should peek across the street at Orient Cafe. It is located in the strip mall next to Jimmy John's. healthy ingredients offered in three generations of family recipes and homemade sauces. The homemade egg rolls are the best! -It's clean -There is a dinning room -The service is friendly -I got a glass of wine for $4.50 Easily the best Chinese food in Homer Glen. Did I mention the owner is the former owner of the Pagoda House (Before it went downhill).

This used to be our favorite place for Chinese takeout. Unfortunately it has taken a turn for the worse since it changed ownership. All 3 of our entrees were really poor - I guess we need to find a new place.

This place has some of the best Chinese food! The staff and owner are very nice. The chicken in the kung pao chicken is very good. Very good meat quality! The beef in the entrees is very good! This is one of my all time favorite Chinese places. There is no fat on the meat and is very tender. Sometimes it takes a little longer than they tell you for the food but its worth the wait! There are couple of booths inside but mainly this place is for carry out.

Came here ONCE many years ago when my favorite Chinese place was closed monday......the texture and flavor were very different (probably more authentic) but the quality of the chicken and vegetables just wasn't there. I'd recommend China House on 143rd and Will Cook (although they have recently changed owners).

I don't know what is was like before the new ownership but the food here is somewhat below average. The portions are huge, I ordered for 3 and I can't recall ever picking up a bag of food so heavy. I think they should relax on the portion size and concentrate more on the taste of the food. We ordered garlic chicken which tasted nothing like garlic and no chicken at all, which leads me to believe they got the order wrong. Kung pao chicken was ok but the chicken pieces would greatly benefit from a trim, way too large. I had better hopes for this place but I think I'll stick to what I know next time.
